Objectives
Youth Red Cross is to inculcate in the Youth of our country an awareness on the care of their own health and that of others the understanding and acceptance of civic responsibilities and acting accordingly with humanitarian concern, to fulfil the same to enable the growth and development. It functions with the one and only aim of serving people in distress without any consideration of caste, religion, language and nationality.

- Our vision is to make the students to volunteer themselves for the growth of our society, people and welfare of our nation.
- We are preparing our students to be a responsible person in all the social activities.
Mission
- To make every individual as a volunteer.
- To keep our Environment Clean and Green.
- To organise Awarness Programmes for the YRC volunteers and in turn make them to organise every individual awareness progamme related with their current scenario prevailing in the society.
- To make the students to donate their Blood and organs volunteerly.
- To conduct Field works for the YRC volunteers.
- To contribute their warm help in all Emergency Situation to make services like fire accidents and disaster Management.

Activities of the Organization
- Three days zonal level orientation training programme for YRC volunteers and YRC programme officers was conducted on 25th OCT 2016 to 27th OCT 2016 at Thiruvalluvar university Serkkadu,Vellore.
- On 31St Jan 2017, The Youth Red Cross wing of ST.ANN’S COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCE, In association with Blood Bank of Government Hospital, Tindivanam and Olakkur have organized Blood Donation camp in the college.
- On Feb 25th, Annual Sports meet organized & conducted by physical department of our college. In that day YRC Installed FIRST AID BOX and REFRESHMEST COUNTER for the athletes and given a first aid treatment to the athletes who were injured.
- On 08th AUG 2017, The Youth Red Cross wing of our college, volunteers went to blood camp which was oraganised by district management on celebrating centinnary birth anniversary of Dr.M.G.R .
- On 23&24 Aug 2017, The Youth Red Cross wing of our college organised an awareness programme on dengue.
- On 13th sep 2017, Our volunteers went to mundiyampakkam Goverment Hospital to donate blood to save life one of our students relative.
- On 28th sep 2017, our volunteers went to Pudhucherry Jipmer hospital to donate blood to save life one of our students relative.
- On 31st Jan 2018, The Youth Red Cross wing of ST.ANN’S COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCE, in association with Blood Bank of Government Hospital, Tindivanam and Olakkur has organized Blood Donation camp in our college.
- On 2nd Feb 2018 The youth Red cross wing and Department of Mathematics joined together and organised orientation programme on PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT, for the welfare of 3rd year students. The programme was presented by Mr. ANDREW MARSHALL Asst.pof. of Mathematics
- Three days zonal level orientation training programe, for YRC programme officers and YRC volunteers, was conducted on 21st FEB 2018 to 23rd FEB 2018 at Thiruvalluvar university Serkkadu,Vellore.
- On 5th march 2018, to create an Eco-Friendly Atmosphere The YRC ORGANISATION in collaboration with our management planted tree saplings inside the college campus.
- The Youth Red Cross unit had conducted an awareness program for the YRC volunteers on 7th march 2018.
- On 29-12-2018 YRC club Inaugurations and Orientation program was help at St Ann’s college of Auditorium. YRC volunteers on 2016th batch shared their experience to the new students / volunteers.
- On 01-01-2019 – Blood Donation camp was Organized by YRC and collaboration with G.H.TINDIVANAM. Many of the volunteers donated their blood to the needy / dying people.
- On 28-01-2019 – YRC volunteers & progamme officers participated in the on day camp at THIRUNAVALUR, JOSEPH COLLEGE OF ARTS & SCIENCE.
- On 10-01-2019 Awareness program was conducted on the title “say no to plastics” YRC CO-Coordinator PROF: VINOTH KUMAR organized the program.
- On 31st Jan 2021, The Youth Red Cross wing and RRC of ST.ANN’S COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCE, in association with Blood Bank of Government Hospital, Tindivanam and Olakkur has organized Blood Donation camp in our college.
- On 04-12-2021 – YRC organised a vaccination camp at our campus.
