INTRODUCTION
For the first time two NSS Unit were started in the College. Comprising 196 students volunteers (Both men and women students) on 3rd Feb 2020. The NSS students undertake social service like tree plantation, public awareness, road traffic, blood donation and drug traffic activities in the campus and out of the campus.
Vision
The vision is to build the youth with the mind and spirit to serve the society and work for the social uplift of the down-trodden masses of our nation as a movement.
Mission
The NSS has been functioning with the motto “NOT ME BUT YOU” In view of making the youth inspired in service of the people and hence NSS Aims Education through Community Service and Community Service through Education.
Motto
The motto or watchword of NSS is ‘NOT ME BUT YOU’. This reflects the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for selfless service and appreciation of the other person’s point of view and also to show consideration for fellow human beings. It underlines that the welfare of an individual is ultimately dependent on the welfare of society on the whole. Therefore, it should be the aim of the NSS to demonstrate this motto in its day-to-day programme.
