General
- Identity card for all students will be issued soon after their admission into the college.
- Every student has to wear his/her identity card every day in the College campus.
- This card will be valid for three years for U.G. students and two years for P.G. students.
- Identity card is absolutely essential during the examination days and for obtaining scholarship, certificates, Library Entry etc.
Attendance
- For all the students, attendance is as prescribed by the University. The college emphasizes on the attendance of every student to the maximum number of working days.
- No students shall be absent from the college without proper leave letter. Application for leave must be made beforehand to the principal with the signature of the Parent/Guardian and recommended by the concerned staff member in charge of the class through the H.O.D.
- Leave application for the Hostellers should bear the recommendation of the warden of the hostel.
- If the absence is due to unforeseen circumstances and if the leave has been availed, the application for leave must be submitted as early as possible, i.e., the next working day duly signed by the Parent/Guardian/Warden.
- Any student who has been permitted to avail leave on prior application he/she should be present in the college after having availed the leave immediately on the next working day.
- If the student fails to fulfil the required percentage of attendance he / she will not be permitted to attend the University examinations.
Discipline
Discipline is the hall mark of character and hence our top most priority is on discipline which, if strictly adhered to, will automatically enable any student to be good in studies as well. Discipline essentially depends upon two factors
- Obedience to the prescribed rules and
- Faithfulness to the institution
- Students should come to the college in uniform on all working days
- The students should be on time to attend the prayer every day without fail.
- The students are expected to be seated inside their respective classrooms for the class and with the entrance of the staff member into the classroom all the students are expected to stand up and greet the staff. All the students should respond to the call of attendance which will be taken every hour.
- No student will be allowed into the classroom after the concerned staff member has begun engaging the class, unless permitted by the authorities of the college.
- No Student should leave the classroom without the permission of the respective staff member.
- CIA tests, Model Exams and Semester examinations are held as per the norms of the University. Whenever class assignments are given these should be submitted by the students to the department on time.
- Students are forbidden from participating in any political activity of any kind or against any authority or against the government and such participation will be viewed seriously and severely punished.
- Possession and usage of Mobile phone within the Campus is stictly prohibited. Any violation in this regard is dealt very seriously to the extent of dismissal from the college.
- The decision of the college authorities of the college will be final in all disciplinary matters.
- Since ours is a co-educational institution, the students should have concern and respect for the opposite gender and maintain a healthy relationship. Any violation will be treated seriously.
Payment of Fees
All payments should be made within the prescribed time.
The college fees, the special and annual fees have to be paid within 10 days of the college reopening of the respective semester.
Since this is an unaided college, fees concession is not encouraged.
Any fee paid will not be returned or transferred or adjusted.
If the payment is not made within the prescribed time, the student has to pay fine before the first CIA and only after the payment he / she will be permitted to appear for the first CIA.
Examination fee has to be paid within a week after the II CIA examination.
Examination fees will be collected only from those students who have paid all the college fees.
If any student fails to pay the examination fee he / she will be treated as a student who has left the college as per the norms of the university.
If a student fails to attend the university examination due to shortage of attendance or non payment of examination fees he / she has to rejoin the course after getting the permission from the university provided there are vacancies in the course otherwise the student has to discontinue the course after paying the total college fees.
